At 13 weeks old Onslaught came to our family with every intention of being a “working” dog. My wife and I decided that she would be the one to make the pick of our new addition. There were two other champagne males, but my wife said there was something special about him. With him being my first weightpull dog, I made a lot of mistakes. Through humillity, his determination and people that were willing to help, Onslaught has earned the nickname “Slaughterhouse”. When he isn’t out in the field training, he is on the couch patiently waiting for the next round. When you finally pull out his harness, he emits happiness from his core.
His showing career has been short yet mildly successful. We dedited to take him to BullyPalooza in 2012 and spectate. A few of our friend kept insisting that we show him and boy am I glad we did! He took 1st place in the XL class, Best Overall XL and Best Male. Onslaught has come a long way in the past 3 years and he is only going to get better with time.
Thank you BBCR for the recognition, along with all my fellow weightpullers.
