29 Jul Moses “Mo” Barrow set to become the new BBCR “Director of Judges”
We are pleased to bring you the news that Moses “Mo” Barrow has been selected as Director of Judges for the Bull Breed Coalition Registry. Mo joined the BBCR nearly two years ago, in October 2016. He is married to Christina Barrow, Director of Representatives for the BBCR.
Originally from Irvington, NJ, Mo now lives with his wife in Raeford, NC. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Fayetteville State University and a Master’s in Public Safety from Capella University.
Mo became an official judge with the BBCR first, then a certified trainer. He ultimately joined the Board of Directors and was recently chosen Director of Judges. He has been a big part of the bully community since 2007.
“My first dog was Juno, from the Best Bloods kennel,” Mo recalls. “My breeds are mainly American Bullies.” He counts among his mentors Richard Horton, Dathan Johnson, and Jesse Goodwin.
Mo is well-respected throughout the bully community. He is known to be extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of breeds, especially those recognized by the BBCR. He’s also a breeder with many produced and handled champions to his credit.
“I own and handle one of the most decorated dogs in the bully community, Big Poppa,” he adds. “I have produced and handled at least 15 champions, including two grand champions.”
Anyone interested in becoming a judge should consider Mo a great role model, as he has helped hundreds of bully breed owners with everything from breeding advice to training tips.
This November, Mo will join Tim Sinclair in judging our 2nd Annual National Championship, held at the Cabarrus Arena Events Center in Concord, NC. Congratulations to Mo from all of us in the bully community.
